Garden Pavilions & Public Realm Caribbean Park
The public realm at Caribbean park feature two garden pavilions and three meeting pods, with the latter skimming shallow waterways.
While the traditional model for providing outdoor amenities, such as barbeques, for suburban offices is often to simply place them on the edge of a bitumen car park, here they’re nestled into the park surrounds. These robust garden pavilions include a bench-style meeting area that can also double for informal meetings for those working in a nearby office. The pods have proven popular with family and friends living nearby, looking for a relaxed and informal place to entertain on a weekend (bookings required).
The garden pavilions also offer another outdoor environment, whether it’s to catch up informally with colleagues, or simply eat one’s lunch in an idyllic environment. Programmed for audio, these timber-covered structures are not surprisingly, a drawcard at all times of the day, seven days a week.
